Yes Daylight savings time is here!! November 6th, Sunday at 2:00am turn your clocks back one hour! Wooo Hooo! Did you know one of the reasons Day Light Savings started was to save on wax used for candles? Yes, candles… which at that time was the source of light in the evenings. Wow, I know crazy isn’t it? I wonder why we are still doing it? Anyone have an answer for me?

SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM
This Snohomish School District breakfast and lunch program will be made available at no charge to children 18 years of age and younger.
All meals are available without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
Breakfast and lunch will be served at:
Maple Avenue Campus – 601 Glen Avenue in Snohomish
Free to all kids 18 and younger
Served every Monday through Friday
Breakfast (8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.)
Lunch (11:30 a.m. to Noon)
Program runs Monday, June 27 through Friday, Sept. 2 (except Monday, July 4)
